Invite your team and review who logged in
In short: Go to Settings → Web Users and click Invite User. Enter the email, a phone number for two-step verification, a name and the role, and click Send Invitation. The person gets a "Welcome to TCXC" email with a link to choose their own username and password. Finance users can withdraw funds; other roles can't. Logs → Web Access shows every page request on your account for the last 30 days.
How team roles split seller access
- Main userInvites from Settings → Web Users
- then, Welcome to TCXC email, ColleagueOwn username, password and SMS two-step code
- then, signs in, Access roleFinance withdraws funds; Default manages My Routes
- then, every page request, Web Access logWho did what, kept 30 days
On this page
Sharing one login makes it impossible to tell who uploaded a rate deck or requested a payout. Web Users gives each colleague their own username and password on your seller account, with a role, and the Web Access log shows what everyone did.
How do I invite a colleague?#
- Go to Settings → Web Users. The My Team page lists your users.
- Click Invite User.
- Fill in:
- Email Address: where the invitation goes. It must not already be used by another TelecomsXchange user.
- Phone Number (For 2FA): with the country code, such as
+19542405411. It is used for two-step verification. - Friendly Name: the name shown in the list and in logs.
- Access Role: Default - Standard Access, Finance - Financial Management or, when your seller account is linked to a buyer account, Buyer Access - Customer Management.
- Click Send Invitation.
You'll see "Web User has been added". The user gets a "Welcome to TCXC" email with a Create your login button that opens Create Your Account, where they choose a Username and a Password of at least 8 characters. After "User Created Successfully" they sign in at the seller login page with their own username and password. Each invitation link works once; click Resend Invite to send a fresh one.
When an invited user is signed in, the portal shows the account as "your login via their login", so your routes and settings are shared while the activity is theirs.
What can each role do?#
Every invited user can use the seller portal like the main account: Future Rate Changes, Interconnect Info, My Buyers, Market View, HLR Lookup, Payout History, DIDs, records and Live Calls. The differences:
| Default | Finance | Buyer Access | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Invite or edit web users | No | No | No |
| Web Access log | No | No | No |
| Login timeout and profile photo | No | No | No |
| My Routes (add routes, upload rates) | Yes | No | Yes |
| Withdraw Funds, Request payout, payout method | No | Yes | No |
| Switch to the linked buyer panel | No | No | Yes |
Buyer Access appears only when TelecomsXchange has linked your seller account to a buyer account. Such a user, like the main account, gets a Switch to Buyer Panel button on the dashboard. Ask support to link accounts.
How do I change or remove a user?#
In Web Users:
- Edit changes the user's Role. Username, name and email can't be changed; invite a new user instead.
- Block stops the user logging in at once; Unblock lets them back in. A user who enters a wrong two-step code more than four times is blocked automatically and shows as Blocked: click Unblock.
- Resend Invite sends a new invitation link.
How does two-step verification work for my team?#
Each user turns it on for themselves: Settings → Profile & Preferences → Enable Two-Step Verification. From then on, every login sends a 4-digit code by SMS to the phone number from their invitation. A browser that has passed the check isn't asked again for 7 days. Users can also change their own password there.
How do I see who did what?#
- Go to Logs → Web Access.
- Set From Date and To Date; the page opens on the last 24 hours.
- Click Search.
Every page request made on your account is listed with the Username (the invited user's login, or yours), Source IP Address, Request URI, Request (the form fields sent, with passwords masked) and DateTime. Click Download <n> Entries for a CSV. Entries are kept for 30 days.
Use it to confirm who uploaded a rate deck, changed a route or requested a payout.
