TelecomsXchange buyer accounts are prepaid: calls and messages are paid from your balance as they happen. Keep the balance topped up and your traffic keeps flowing.

How do I start a top-up?#

  1. Open Add Funds in one of these ways:
    • click the + next to your balance in the top bar,
    • click Top Up next to Account Balance on the Dashboard,
    • on Accounts, open an account's three-dot Actions menu and choose Top Up Balance.
  2. Under Choose Payment Method, select Credit / Debit Card, PayPal or Wire Transfer.
  3. Click Confirm Payment Method.
The Payment Method Choice page with card, PayPal and wire options

You'll see the page for the method you chose. Only accounts that use their own balance can be topped up; accounts that share another account's balance are funded through that account.

How do I pay by credit or debit card?#

  1. Enter the Amount (USD) (at least $1).
  2. Pick the Account to credit.
  3. If you see Auto-Recharge, choose One Time, or Recurring and set When Account Balance Goes Below (see below).
  4. Click Proceed to Payment and complete the card form.
The card top-up page (Stripe) with amount, account and Auto-Recharge fields

The amount is added to the account after the payment goes through. A processing fee of 3.9% + $0.30 is then taken from the same account and shows as Stripe transaction fee lines in Payment History.

Auto-Recharge appears only if recurring billing is enabled for your company. With Recurring, the card form also asks for the cardholder's name, street address, city, country and state, and your card is saved and charged the same amount whenever the account's balance drops below the threshold (50.00 by default). The account then shows Auto $amount@$threshold in the Accounts list; click off next to it to stop auto-recharge.

How do I pay with PayPal?#

  1. Pick the Account to Top Up.
  2. Enter the Amount (USD) (minimum $1.00).
  3. Click the Pay with PayPal button and confirm the payment in PayPal.

The amount is added after PayPal confirms the payment. A processing fee of 4.85% + $0.30 is then taken from the same account as a PayPal transaction fee line. The page's PayPal Express Information box shows "Processing Fee: 4.99% + $0.30"; the lower figure, 4.85%, is what is actually charged. The page also lists PayPal's verification requirements: a government-issued photo ID and a utility bill for each new PayPal account.

Each company has a maximum amount for card and PayPal top-ups, even though the PayPal page says "No limit on the amount for fully verified accounts". Above it, you'll see "Max Amount allowed is …" with your limit.

How do I pay by wire transfer?#

  1. Choose Wire Transfer and click Confirm Payment Method.
  2. Copy your reference under Add this reference to your wire description (it's your username). Click Copy to copy it.
  3. At your bank, send the wire in USD to the Beneficiary & Bank Details shown on the page, with the reference in the payment reference or description field. Each row has its own Copy button, and Copy all details copies the whole block for your bank's transfer form.

The beneficiary is TELECOMSXCHANGE CANADA INC. at TD Canada Trust (SWIFT/BIC TDOMCATTTOR); the account number and both addresses are on the page.

Funds are typically credited within 1–3 business days of receipt. Questions go to finance@telecomsxchange.com. Choose a different method at the bottom takes you back to the payment method choice.

Warning

Always include your reference. Wires sent without it take longer to credit.

Canadian customers: Interac e-Transfer#

If you bank in Canada you can skip the wire and send an Interac e-Transfer instead. The details are under Canadian customers: Interac e-Transfer on the Wire Transfer page:

  1. From your Canadian bank, send an Interac e-Transfer to info@telecomsxchange.com (TelecomsXchange's registered Interac receiver) and put your buyer username in the Message.
  2. Email your receipt and buyer username to support@telecomsxchange.com. The funds are added to your account as soon as possible.

How do I get warned before my balance runs low?#

  1. Go to Accounts, open the account's Actions menu and choose Edit Account.
  2. Enter an amount in Notify if balance lower than. The field appears only on accounts that use their own balance.
  3. Click Update Account.

When the balance drops below that amount, you receive one Account Low Balance Notification email, headed Low Balance Alert, with the current balance, the alert threshold and a Top up balance button. You get another only after the balance has gone back above the amount and dropped again.

Tip

Add your finance team under Billing / Accounting Email in Settings → Profile & Preferences. Low-balance emails go there too. Separate several addresses with commas.

Where can I see all my payments?#

Open Payment History in the sidebar, or click your balance in the top bar. It lists every top-up and fee with its Payment Method, Account, Amount (fees and other debits in red), Currency, Date, Status (Pending, Success or Declined) and Notes. A transfer from a seller's payout to your buyer account appears as Manual Payment with the note "Vendor payout to TCXC Buyer Account".

The list opens on the last 24 hours. To see more, set From Date and To Date, optionally with Payment Method (Manual Payment, PayPal, Bank Transfer, Cashu or Stripe), Amount or Notes Search, and click Search Transactions. Clear Filters goes back to the default view. Click Download N Entries to save the list as Payment_Transactions_History_<from>_<to>.csv with the columns Method, Account, Amount, Currency, Date, Status and Notes.

What if something goes wrong?#
