Market View is the TelecomsXchange marketplace: every seller's routes and current prices in one searchable table. Find a route, compare it, and buy it in a few clicks.

How do I search for routes?#

  1. Click Market View in the sidebar.
  2. Under I'm looking for.., choose Voice Market or SMS Market.
  3. Fill in at least one of Country, Prefix, Description or Seller.
  4. Optional: narrow the search with Route (the list fills in once you've entered a Seller), Min Price (USD), Max Price (USD) and, for voice, Route Type.
  5. Click Search Routes.

You'll see how many routes were found, with the results table below: 10 per page, with "(showing X - Y)" and page links at the bottom. Results are sorted by weekly ASR, best first. Clear Filters empties the form, and Hide filters / Show filters folds it away so the table has more room.

Route Type starts on CLI, so a voice search shows CLI routes unless you change it. To see every type, choose All Types before you click Search Routes.

Searching by Seller shows only that seller's public, non-anonymous routes. Routes a seller offers privately appear only if the seller has allowed your login.

Tip

Prefix is the most precise search. For North America, enter 1 followed by at least the 3-digit area code (for example 1416). Market View won't search on 1 alone.

How do I read the results?#

Market View search results with prefix, destination, price, seller, capacity and type

Each row is one seller route for one destination prefix:

Column What it tells you
Prefix The number range the price applies to
Destination The country and network
Price Price per minute (voice) or per SMS, including the platform commission (3%, or your company's own rate), so it is what you'll be billed. Two prices (first / next) mean the first increment is priced differently from the rest. For voice, [1/1] is the billing interval in seconds: first increment / next increments
MCC/MNC Mobile network codes (SMS Market only)
Seller Who sells it. Click the name for the seller's profile, or Anonymous to message an anonymous seller
Route The seller's route name
Capacity Maximum simultaneous calls: Unlimited or a number of channels (N ch). Voice only
Type The route type, for example CLI, TDM or Non-CLI

Min Price and Max Price filter on the same commission-inclusive price you see in the table. A Price change scheduled badge under a price warns you that the rate is about to change.

Click the info icon in a row (on a phone it opens as a Route details sheet) to compare quality before you buy: Effective date, Daily ASR, Weekly ASR, Daily ACD, Weekly ACD and Daily Minutes (voice), plus the seller's Rating (or No reviews yet), Reviews, Earnings and Member Since date. ASR turns red below 20% and ACD, shown in minutes, turns red below 2 minutes. A new route shows No Data Available until it has carried enough traffic.

To get the whole result in a file, click Download All N Rates. The file is route_lookup.csv with the columns Country, Description, Prefix (SMS: plus MCCMNC), Effective from, Seller, Route, Capacity, Price 1, Price N, Interval 1, Interval N, last day and week ASR, ACD and minutes, and the time the statistics were calculated. Rates scheduled for a future date are included as extra rows with their own Effective from date.

How do I purchase a route?#

  1. Click Purchase on the row you want.
  2. On Confirm Route Purchase, check the Route Information: Seller (or Anonymous Seller), Route Name, Tech Prefix and Route Type (Voice Route or SMS Route).
  3. Under Select Account, choose All Accounts or one account. Voice routes list your SIP accounts; SMS routes list your SMPP accounts. Each option shows the account's balance, for example "Balance: $50.00 USD" or "Using $50.00 of MAIN | Own: $0.00". IoT accounts can't buy routes.
  4. If you see Terms and Conditions (for example "Minimum ASR 20 %" or "Only Retail traffic accepted"), read them and tick I agree with the terms and conditions of the seller.
  5. Click Confirm Purchase, or Return to Market to go back without buying.
The Confirm Route Purchase page with route information and account selection

All Accounts adds the route to every matching account that doesn't have it yet. The first SMS route you buy on an SMPP account becomes that account's Default Route; you can change it later on Edit Account.

You'll see Purchase Successful: "Your route has been activated". Under What Happens Next:

  • the seller's rate sheet is sent to your rates email address,
  • the technical details (configuration) are sent to your primary account email,
  • you can configure the route's settings in your account.

The Purchased Route Confirmation email ("You're Interconnected!") is sent by a scheduled job a few minutes after the purchase, with the host, port, tech prefix, protocol and the full price list attached. Add rates@telecomsxchange.com to your email allow-list. Future rate updates come from that address whenever the seller uploads new rates.

Click Configure Route Now to set ASR and ACD alerts for the new route, then send your first call.

Warning

Seller terms are enforced automatically. If your daily traffic breaks a seller's minimum ASR, minimum ACD or retail-only rule, your traffic on that route is blocked.

Common questions

Do I pay anything when I purchase a route?

No. Purchasing creates an interconnection between your account and the seller's route. You pay per call or message, at the route's rate, from your prepaid balance.

Does the price in Market View include the platform commission?

Yes. Every price shown, in the results, the route details and the downloaded CSV, already includes the TelecomsXchange commission (3% unless your company has its own rate), so it is the rate you will be billed.

What do CLI, Non-CLI and TDM mean?

They are route types set by the seller. CLI routes deliver your caller ID to the called party, Non-CLI routes don't guarantee it, and TDM routes terminate over traditional TDM networks.

What are ASR and ACD?

ASR (Answer-Seizure Ratio) is the percentage of calls that get answered. ACD (Average Call Duration) is the average length of answered calls; Market View shows daily and weekly values once there is enough traffic.

Why do I get 'At least one of Search Criterias Prefix/Country/Description/Seller is mandatory'?

Market View needs at least one of Prefix, Country, Description or Seller before it can search. Fill one in and click Search Routes again.

What does Anonymous mean as a seller name?

The seller has chosen to sell anonymously. You can still purchase the route, and clicking Anonymous lets you message the seller through the platform. Searching by Seller never returns anonymous routes.
