Sell eSIMs

Guide 9 of 143-minute readUpdated 23 October 2026

In short: eSIM providers sell their own inventory on TelecomsXchange. Once eSIM selling is enabled on your seller account, go to eSIMs → Config, choose the Provider Type your platform's API uses (eSimplified or Airalo), enter its API base URL, client ID and client secret, click Save Configuration, then Test Connection. Your packages are listed automatically at your price plus the platform commission, and eSIMs → Sales shows each order.

The eSIM marketplace is stocked by eSIM providers, such as Airalo and eSimplified, selling their own prepaid data packages to every buyer on TelecomsXchange. As a provider, you connect your eSIM platform's API once; your packages are then listed automatically, each sale is issued through your API on the spot, and your seller balance is credited at once.

Before you start#

  • Your eSIM platform's API credentials. TelecomsXchange connects to two API types: eSimplified and Airalo. You need your platform's base URL, a client ID and a client secret, plus, for the eSimplified type, its extra secret header.
  • eSIM selling enabled on your account. Ask support to switch it on. The eSIMs menu, with Config and Sales, appears once it is. Support also sets your commission percentage and how long package lists are cached.

How do I connect my eSIM platform?#

  1. Go to eSIMs → Config.
  2. Under API Credentials, choose the Provider Type: the API your platform uses, eSimplified or Airalo.
  3. Enter the API Base URL. It must be on that API's own domain: partners-api.airalo.com for Airalo, or an esimplified.io or esimplified.com address for eSimplified.
  4. Enter the Client ID and Client Secret.
  5. For eSimplified, enter the Secret Header:Value exactly as Header-Name: Header-Value. The field is hidden for Airalo.
  6. Click Save Configuration. You'll see "Settings have been updated".
  7. Click Test Connection. TelecomsXchange requests a token from your platform and shows API Connection Successful or API Connection Failed with the time of the test.

Configuration Status below the form shows the Provider Type, the API Endpoint, the Authentication token with whether it is Valid or Expired, and Product Sync with the time your packages were last cached.

How are my packages listed?#

  • When a buyer searches a country, region or the world, TelecomsXchange fetches your matching packages from your platform and caches them. The cache is refreshed on the schedule set for your account (1, 6, 12 or 24 hours). Airalo-type catalogues are also resynced every hour.
  • Only packages priced in USD are listed.
  • Buyers see the package name, data in GB, validity in days, networks, countries covered, your login as the Vendor and the price: your price plus the platform commission.
  • When a buyer clicks Purchase, stock and price are checked live with your platform before the buyer pays, so the buyer always sees the current price.
  • Top-ups for an eSIM are fetched live from your platform when the buyer opens Top Up.

You can't edit the catalogue in the portal: change packages and prices on your platform and they follow at the next refresh.

What do I earn?#

For every purchase and top-up:

  • the buyer pays the Buyer Amount: your price plus the commission;
  • your seller balance is credited with your price straight away;
  • the commission is the Fee Amount, kept by TelecomsXchange.

Each credit appears in Money → Payout History with the note "Esim order" or "Esim Top-Up order", the order number and the last four digits of the ICCID. Withdraw your balance as usual; see Get paid.

How do I see my sales?#

eSIMs → Sales lists every order with Order Date, Buyer, Package, Country, Type (purchase or top-up), Buyer Amount, Fee Amount and Status. It opens on the last 24 hours; set Date From and Date To and click Search Orders for an earlier period.

Common questions

Where does the eSIM inventory come from?

From the eSIM providers selling on TelecomsXchange, such as Airalo and eSimplified. Each provider connects its own eSIM platform's API, and TelecomsXchange lists that provider's packages, issues its eSIMs and sells its top-ups through it.

Can I set my own prices?

Your prices come from your eSIM platform: change them there and they follow at the next refresh. Buyers see your price plus the platform commission, a percentage TelecomsXchange sets on your account. The Sales page shows both parts of every order.

When am I paid?

Your seller balance is credited with your price the moment a buyer completes a purchase or top-up. Withdraw it like any other earnings.

Do I need to do anything when someone buys?

No. The eSIM is issued through your platform's API instantly, and the buyer gets the QR code and LPA code in the portal.

Can a buyer cancel or get a refund?

There is no cancellation or refund flow in the portal. A buyer who has a problem will message you.
