# Quality thresholds, automatic blocks and anonymous routes

> In Edit Route, fill in Minimum Traffic Requirements and click Update Settings. Each day TelecomsXchange checks every buyer's previous-day traffic on the route and blocks buyers below your ASR or ACD limits. Anonymous routes and DIDs cost a monthly fee taken from your balance.

## How buyers are blocked automatically

1. **Buyer traffic**: At least 10 calls on the previous UTC day
2. **Daily check** (via midnight UTC): Compares ASR and ACD with your limits
3. **Blocked purchase** (via below a limit): Buyer and you both get an inbox message
4. **Subscribed Buyers** (via your review): Unblock; the next day's check runs again

Short calls and floods of unanswered calls cost you money and hurt your standing with your own carriers. Set minimum quality limits on a voice route, and TelecomsXchange blocks buyers who fall below them.

## How do I set quality requirements?

1. Go to **Routes → My Routes** and choose **Edit Route** for a voice route.
2. Scroll to **Minimum Traffic Requirements**.
3. Enter **Block if ASR Goes Lower Than (%)** and **Block if ACD Goes Lower Than (sec)** (see the table below).
4. Choose a **Traffic Type**.
5. Click **Update Settings**.

![The Minimum Traffic Requirements section of Edit Route with ASR and ACD limits and Traffic Type set to Retail, above the route's Subscribed Buyers](https://help.telecomsxchange.com/assets/screenshots/seller-route-thresholds.jpg)

You'll see "Route information updated successfully." On the purchase page, buyers now see "This route has minimum traffic requirements" with the lines that apply: "Only Retail traffic accepted", "Minimum ACD N sec" and "Minimum ASR N %". They must tick **I agree with the terms and conditions of the seller** before they can buy. The notice and the checkbox appear only when **Traffic Type** is **Retail** or a limit is above `0`.

| Setting | What it means |
|---|---|
| **Block if ASR Goes Lower Than (%)** | Lowest answer-seizure ratio you accept: answered calls as a share of all calls. |
| **Block if ACD Goes Lower Than (sec)** | Lowest average call duration you accept, in seconds, across answered calls. |
| **Traffic Type** | **Retail** (only retail traffic accepted) or **No Restriction**. |

Leave a value empty, or set it to `0`, if you have no requirement for it. SMS routes have no traffic requirements.

!!! tip
Start with moderate limits (for example ASR `15`, ACD `20`) and tighten them once you know your normal traffic. Limits that are too strict block good buyers on a bad day.

## How do automatic blocks work?

Every day TelecomsXchange checks each buyer's traffic on your route for the previous day (midnight to midnight UTC):

- Buyers who have blocked the route themselves, and buyers with fewer than 10 calls (answered and failed together), are skipped.
- For the others, ASR is answered calls as a percentage of all calls, and ACD is the total duration of answered calls divided by their number. If either is below your limit, the buyer's purchase of the route is blocked.
- The buyer gets an inbox message "Purchased route has been blocked for seller:[your login]" saying the route was blocked because traffic requirements were not met. You get an inbox message "Purchased route has been blocked for buyer:[buyer login]".

The same daily check updates **Daily ASR**, **Daily ACD** and **Daily Minutes** in **Edit Route → Subscribed Buyers**. For buyers with fewer than 10 calls, only **Daily Minutes** is filled in.

To let a blocked buyer back in, click **Unblock** next to them in **Subscribed Buyers**. The check runs again the next day, so a buyer who is still below your limits is blocked again.

Buyers can also set their own warning and block limits on a purchased route. When the daily check finds one crossed, the email, "TCXC Notification Tresholds met for [your name]-[route]" or "TCXC BLOCK Tresholds met for [your name]-[route]", goes to the buyer and to you. A buyer-side block stops that buyer's traffic until the buyer activates the route again.

## Where do I see daily statistics?

Go to **Logs → Call Stats (Voice)**. The **Statistics & Reports** page has a calendar: pick a day to download its CDR and statistics files. Daily statistics are generated at midnight UTC. More in [reports and preferences](https://help.telecomsxchange.com/sellers/reports-and-preferences/).

## How does anonymous listing work?

When you add a route or a DID, choosing **Anonymous** under **Publicity** hides your company name from buyers. Market View, private offer emails and messages show *Anonymous* instead. The form shows the monthly fee for your account; routes and DIDs have separate fees. You can't change a route's publicity after you add it.

- The first month is charged from your balance when you create the anonymous route or DID. If your balance is too low you'll see "Not enough balance to pay for anonymous monthly fee" followed by the amount (for a DID, "Not enough balance to pay for DID anonymous fee").
- After that, the fee is taken from your balance each month, within minutes of the paid-up date, and appears in **Money → Payout History** as "Anonymous feature for route [id]" or "Anonymous feature for DID [id]".
- If your balance is too low in the 3 days before the next charge, you get a reminder email with the subject "TCXC Anonymous Route Billing issue! Route: [name]" (or "TCXC Anonymous DID Billing issue!") that says when the route or DID **Blocks on**.
- **Edit Route** shows **Anonymous Billed To**: the date the route is paid up to. In **Routes → My Routes**, a paid anonymous route shows **✓ Billed** and an unpaid one **⚠ Unbilled**. In **DIDs → My DIDs**, a paid anonymous DID shows **OK** and an unpaid one shows **Unbilled**.

!!! warning
If the monthly fee can't be charged, the route is blocked (or the DID set to **Blocked**) and traffic on it stops. You get an email with the same subject, "TCXC Anonymous Route Billing issue! Route: [name]" (or "TCXC Anonymous DID Billing issue!"), saying the route or DID has been blocked. Top up your balance, then switch off **Blocked** on the route or set the DID back to **Idle**.

The fee is only charged for routes and DIDs that are not blocked. To stop paying for an anonymous route, switch on **Blocked** in **Edit Route**. For a DID, set its status to **Blocked**.

## What if something goes wrong?

| You see | What to do |
|---|---|
| 'Block ASR' parameter expects numeric value | Enter a number only, for example `15`, without the % sign. |
| 'Block ACD' parameter expects numeric value | Enter a number of seconds only, for example `20`. |
| Not enough balance to pay for anonymous monthly fee | Top up your balance so it covers one month's fee, or choose **Public**. |
| Not enough balance to pay for DID anonymous fee | The same, for an anonymous DID. |

## Frequently asked questions

**Q: When are buyers blocked automatically?**

A: Once a day, based on the previous day's traffic. If a buyer made at least 10 calls on your route and their ASR or ACD is below your limits, their purchase of the route is blocked and you both get an inbox message.

**Q: What does Traffic Type 'Retail' mean?**

A: It tells buyers your route accepts only retail traffic. Buyers see it in the terms they must accept before they can buy the route.

**Q: Why do I get emails about a buyer's own thresholds?**

A: Buyers can set their own ASR and ACD warning and block limits on a purchased route. When one is crossed, the email (TCXC Notification Tresholds met or TCXC BLOCK Tresholds met) goes to the buyer and to you.

**Q: How much does anonymous listing cost?**

A: A monthly fee per anonymous route and a separate monthly fee per anonymous DID, set for your account by TelecomsXchange. The amount is shown when you choose Anonymous under Publicity.

**Q: What happens if I can't pay the anonymous fee?**

A: You get a reminder email in the 3 days before it's due if your balance is too low. If it still can't be charged, the route is blocked (or the DID set to Blocked) until you top up and unblock it.

**Q: How do I stop paying for an anonymous route?**

A: Switch on Blocked for the route in Edit Route. The monthly fee is only charged for routes that are not blocked. You can't turn an anonymous route into a public one.
