# Manage your buyers and make private offers

> Go to Routes → My Buyers to see who bought your routes or DIDs and message them. Replies arrive in your Messages inbox. To block a buyer or sell a route privately, open the route's Edit Route page and use Subscribed Buyers or Private Exchange.

## How a private offer reaches a buyer

1. **Your route**: Private Exchange switched on in Edit Route
2. **Allowed buyers** (via Allow by exact login): Only they see the route in Market View
3. **Offer email** (via sent automatically): Rate sheet attached, with Log in to accept
4. **Buyer's purchase** (via accepts offer): Disallow removes it and stops traffic

See who buys from you, talk to them, and control who can use each route.

## Who is buying from me?

1. Go to **Routes → My Buyers**.
2. Under **Type**, choose **Routes** or **DIDs**. To find one buyer, type part of their login or email in **Buyer or Email**.
3. Click **Search**. **Reset** clears the filters.

You'll see **Buyers (N)** with each buyer and the routes or DIDs they bought from you (a card shows the first four and "+N more"). Switch between card and list view with the buttons above the results. Each buyer has **Message** and **View profile** buttons. Searching by email can also list buyers who haven't bought from you.

## How do I message or review a buyer?

1. On **Routes → My Buyers**, click **Message** next to the buyer, or click **View profile** and then **Send A Message**.
2. Fill in **Subject** and **Message**, and click **Send Message** (**Cancel** takes you back to the profile).
3. To leave a review, open the buyer's profile, choose a **Rating** under **Leave Feedback** (1 is bad, 5 is good), write your **Review**, and click **Add Review**.

The buyer gets your message in their inbox and by email with the subject "TCXC Message: [your subject]", and you land on your **Outbox**. A review appears under **Reviews** on the buyer's profile, together with reviews from other sellers and the buyer's average rating. A review shorter than 4 characters is not saved.

The profile also shows the buyer's **Company Profile** details and when they became a member.

## How do I reply to a buyer?

1. Click the envelope icon in the top bar. Your **Inbox** lists each message's sender, subject, date and a preview; unread ones carry a **New** badge, and messages about an anonymous route or DID carry an **Anonymous** badge.
2. Click **Read** on the message.
3. Type **Your Reply** and click **Send Reply**. On a message about one of your anonymous routes or DIDs, the button reads **Send Reply Anonymously**.

The reply goes to the buyer's inbox and by email. On an anonymous reply, the buyer sees you as "Anonymous Owner of Route [name]" or "Anonymous Owner of DID Number [number]". Use **Mailbox** to switch between **Inbox** and **Outbox**. You can only reply to messages addressed to you.

## How do I see how a buyer's traffic is doing?

1. Go to **Routes → My Routes** and choose **Edit Route** for the route.
2. Scroll to **Subscribed Buyers**.

You'll see each buyer on that route with their **Daily ASR**, **Daily ACD** and **Daily Minutes** for the previous day.

## How do I block a buyer?

1. Go to **Routes → My Routes** and choose **Edit Route** for the route.
2. In **Subscribed Buyers**, click **Block** next to the buyer.

The buyer can no longer use this route and gets an inbox message from TelecomsXchange with the subject "Purchased route has been blocked for seller:[your login]". No email is sent. The block applies to this route only. To undo it, click **Unblock** next to the buyer; the buyer is not notified of the unblock.

!!! tip
Instead of blocking by hand, set **Minimum Traffic Requirements** on the route. Buyers whose daily traffic falls below them are blocked automatically. See [quality thresholds](https://help.telecomsxchange.com/sellers/quality-thresholds-and-anonymous-routes/).

## How do I offer a route privately?

A private route is visible only to buyers you allow, for example to give one carrier a special price.

1. Go to **Routes → My Routes** and choose **Edit Route** for the route.
2. Switch on **Private Exchange** and click **Update Settings**. Buyers who already bought the route are added to the allowed list automatically.
3. In the **Private Exchange Buyers** panel, start typing the buyer's login in **Buyer name** and pick it from the suggestions.
4. Click **Allow**.

The buyer appears in the **Private Exchange Buyers** list. They receive an email with the subject "Private Exchange Offer: [route] has been offered to you by Seller [your name]", the seller, route and offer date, a **Log in to accept offer** button and your rate sheet attached as `[your login]_route_[route].csv`. The route now shows for them in **Market View**. If the route is anonymous, the email shows your name as *Anonymous*. Allowing a buyer who is already on the list sends the offer email again.

!!! warning
Clicking **Disallow** next to a buyer removes their access and deletes their existing purchase of the route. Their traffic on it stops, and they are not notified.

Web users with the **Finance** role can't open **Edit Route**, so they can't block buyers or manage private offers.

## What if something goes wrong?

| You see | What to do |
|---|---|
| Buyer not found | Check the login. **Allow** needs the buyer's exact login, not their company name or email. |
| Empty subject is not allowed | Fill in **Subject** before you click **Send Message**. |
| Empty message is not allowed | Fill in **Message** (or **Your Reply**) before you send. |

## Frequently asked questions

**Q: Can I block a buyer from all my routes at once?**

A: No. Blocking works per route. Open each route's Edit Route page and click Block next to the buyer in Subscribed Buyers.

**Q: Is the buyer told when I block them?**

A: Yes. The buyer gets an inbox message from TelecomsXchange saying their purchased route has been blocked by the seller. No email is sent, and unblocking sends nothing.

**Q: How does a private offer work?**

A: Turn on Private Exchange for the route, then allow buyers by their exact login. Only allowed buyers see the route in Market View, and each one gets an email offer with the rate sheet attached.

**Q: What happens when I disallow a buyer?**

A: The buyer loses access to the private route, and their existing purchase of that route is removed. They are not notified.

**Q: How do I reply to a buyer anonymously?**

A: Open the message in your inbox. If the buyer wrote to you about an anonymous route or DID, the reply button reads Send Reply Anonymously and the buyer sees you as the anonymous owner of that route or number.
